La Sage Camomille is a small business located in Rimouski that creates and makes natural and safe products for all.
OUR HISTORY
Amélie started creating body products to have safe and natural alternatives to use at home. She is passionate about nature, plants and natural products.
Her passion led her to study herbalism and to spend a lot of time in nature to learn about local plants. During this time, she also started making products in her kitchen using harvested plants. Since then, she has started to offer her products to friends and family members. The few products made in the kitchen quickly became a small production. Seeing people's interest in her products, she decided to share her passion with everyone.
OUR MISSION
OUR PRODUCTS
Our products are made locally in Rimouski, Quebec. They are made by hand in small quantities because we want them to be as fresh as possible when they arrive at your doorstep.
We make our products with simple, healthy and gentle ingredients. Our product line is gentle enough to be used safely on all skin types. We use the least ingredients necessary to make useful and attractive products.
Our products are naturally colored with plants and clays and are scented with essential oils.
They are tested on ourselves only. Most of our products are vegan, except some that contain honey or local beeswax from Miellerie Le Château Blanc in Rimouski. In addition, if we have too many products or we are not satified with a batch, no product is thrown away. The products are discounted on the online store or given to relatives.
La Sage Camomille's products are inspired by the change between the seasons and by the richness of the flora. It is why a new collection of products is available each season.
Our products are made with plants freshly picked from our garden, sustainably harvested from the wild or purchased from Canadian growers as needed. We use no pesticides or chemical fertilizers in our garden. The plants are carefully picked and add beneficial properties to our products.
